You may not use the UPMOS name or logo in ways that suggest endorsement, imply partnership, or could confuse buyers, unless you have a written license from us. You may make accurate factual references (“available on Upmos”). Don’t modify the logo, don’t put it in your trademarks or domain names, and never use it on counterfeit listings.

1. Scope and Definitions
These guidelines apply to anyone who uses the Upmos Marks in advertising, packaging, documentation, social media, search-engine listings, browser extensions, sponsorship materials, or merchandise. They supplement and do not replace the terms of any written license or Brand Registry Terms agreement.
For these guidelines:
- Upmos Marks means the UPMOS word mark, the UPMOS logo, the Upmos checkmark device, related product names (e.g., Upmos Go, All Access, Honors, Double Up Fridays), and any other marks Upmos identifies from time to time.
- You means any third party using or referencing an Upmos Mark.
2. Permitted Uses
You may use the Upmos Marks without a prior written license in the following ways only:
- Factual reference. Truthful statements that you sell on Upmos, buy from Upmos, or integrate with Upmos services. Example: “Available on Upmos.”
- Editorial or news reporting. Plain text references in news articles, blog posts, podcasts, or videos that describe Upmos.
- Comparative advertising that is truthful, not misleading, and uses only the minimum portion of the Mark necessary to make the comparison.
All permitted uses must follow the visual and style rules in Section 4.
3. Prohibited Uses
You may not use any Upmos Mark to:
- Imply sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, or partnership unless authorized in writing.
- Register a trademark, business name, domain name, product name, app icon, social-media handle, or YouTube/TikTok channel name that contains or is confusingly similar to an Upmos Mark.
- Sell or distribute counterfeit, infringing, or grey-market goods, or any product that violates our Counterfeit & Authenticity Guarantee.
- Use the Marks on merchandise (t-shirts, mugs, stickers, etc.) without a written merchandise license.
- Combine the Marks with another mark to form a new lockup (e.g., “Upmos-Plus”, “UpmosPay”).
- Modify, recolor, rotate, distort, animate, or re-letter the logo.
- Use the Marks in a way that is defamatory, obscene, or otherwise harmful to Upmos’s reputation.
- Use the Marks in metadata, hidden text, keyword stuffing, paid search keywords on competitor products, or domain-name typo-squatting.
4. Visual & Style Rules
When you use an Upmos Mark you must:
- Use only the official files supplied through our Brand Kit; do not recreate the logo.
- Maintain clear space around the logo of at least the height of the “U” letterform.
- Use the wordmark in upper-case as “UPMOS” or in case-correct form as “Upmos”; do not stylize (no lowercase, all-caps, or alternate capitalization).
- Include a trademark notice on first prominent use (® for registered marks where applicable).
- Provide attribution in fine print: “UPMOS is a trademark of Upmos Inc., used with permission.”
5. Special Rules for Sellers
If you sell on Upmos, you may say so on your own website, packaging, or social-media bios. You may not:
- Use any Upmos Mark in your seller business name, brand registry entry, listing title, or primary product image lockup.
- Display the Upmos logo on the product itself, on hangtags, or on packaging supplied to the buyer (unless we have provided official co-branded packaging).
- Imply that Upmos has tested, certified, or endorsed your products.

6. Press, Media & Press Kit
Journalists, bloggers, podcasters, and analysts may use the Upmos Marks in editorial coverage subject to these guidelines. Press-quality logo files, photography, and approved screenshots are available from our press kit. For interviews, executive bios, or media requests contact legal@upmos.com. You do not need our prior approval to publish factual news about Upmos.
7. Domain Names, App-Store Listings, and Social Handles
Names that contain “upmos”, “upmos-“, “upmos.com”, or that are confusingly similar are reserved to Upmos Inc. Do not register such names; if you discover that you already hold one, you must transfer it to Upmos on request and may be reimbursed for documented out-of-pocket registration costs at our discretion.
8. Reporting Misuse
To report unauthorized use of the Upmos Marks, send a message to ip@upmos.com with the subject line Trademark Misuse Report. Include:
- The URL, platform, or product where the misuse appears.
- Screenshots showing the misuse.
- Your contact information so we can follow up.
If the issue is counterfeit goods sold on Upmos, follow the buyer-side process in our Counterfeit Guarantee. For DMCA copyright issues use the DMCA Policy intake.
9. Changes & Enforcement
We may revise these guidelines from time to time. The current version is the one published at /trademark-usage/. Upmos retains the right to terminate any use of the Marks at any time, in our sole discretion, and to require corrective action including takedowns, recalls, or transfer of infringing assets.
